Blessings and Trucks
We received an extra special gift in the mail the other day:
May 1st was Baby Blessing day at our church. We were so glad that Mike, Kristina and Ethan were able to be there for Natalie's blessing, just as they were for Analise's. (minus Ethan, of course!) It was a beautiful part of the service. A video was played with pictures of all the kids, and Jason Wetherholt, our Family Life Minister, spoke words of courage to us as parents.
Jason then invited others to stand with us and pray for us as parents and for our little ones. We are so blessed, both in family and in friends, to have so many who pray for us consistently. We need all of your prayers!
Natalie didn't care so much about the praying. She was much more interested in Daddy's nose!
We finally were able to capture some of our favorite Natalie faces on camera!

I took Analise and Natalie to our annual Touch-a-Truck Day in Champaign. This was my first year to go and we had so much fun! I was a little nervous that Analise would be afraid of all the loud noises, but she did beautifully. We brought a picnic lunch and even got some free ice cream for dessert!
Next year, Natalie. Next year.
She loved the fire engine, especially because she got a "fire truck hat" to wear.
We met up with Miss Jen and Jake, with whom Analise used to stay while I was working at church a few hours a week. It was a sweet reunion between the kids, but Analise missed Josh (at school this year) and kept calling Jake "Jake and Josh". Or just "my buddy".
Race car!
