6 Weeks!!!

More pictures, as promised! I can't belive Analise is already 6 weeks old. Her one month doctor's appointment went really well. She has hit the 10 pound mark and the doctor was very pleased with how she is growing and developing. Analise is much more alert during the day now and is starting to respond to us. Getting a huge smile (and knowing that said smile is actually directed at us rather than being a result of gas!) makes all the sleepless nights okay. Speaking of nights, however, she is doing amazingly well for a 6-week old baby! We have had over a week now of 6-7 hour nights, minus 2 nights where she woke up just once. We'll take it! :) She is holding her head up a little and is "talking" to us a lot. We try to give her time on her tummy, to strengthen those neck muscles, but she hates that! She loves to lie on her blanket (on her back, of course!)and kick her legs and look at her stuffed puppy dog or the mobiles on her play-gym. Okay...enough chatting. On with the pictures! Mommy and Daddy get worn out after a night of no sleep!

Analise enjoys being in her carrier and going for walks or doing chores around the house. We had a lot of trouble, however, getting a picture of her without her mouth wide open...kinda like her Uncle Mike and keeping his eyes closed! :)

AH, finally!!
And this is usually the result of those walks or chores. Wish I could sleep like that!
Play time!! She didn't know she had her rattles in her hands, but she had a good grip on them, nonetheless!
She likes her playgym that Gram and Papa gave her.
She's challenging me to a sword-fighting duel.

Her first Sewell family picture.
Her first overnight at Grammy and Grandaddy's house. We were pleased that she slept just as well in her Pack 'n Play as she does in her crib.
Her one month pictures.

My personal favorite...I love it when she grins!!
