Oh, dear!

So, with a bit of embarrassment, I realized that I had been sadly neglecting this blog in all of my writings on my other blog, madesacred.blogspot.com.  Mea culpa.  I'll just post a few pictures from each month since *sigh* September so that those of you who are far away can catch a glimpse of all of our adventures.  I'll try to do better!  We love you all!

September
Tailgating! (sorry this one is so small)

A couple of pics from Analise's preschool.

Ethan got to come and stay with us for a few days. The girls had a lot of fun with him.

We met Daniel at the park for a picnic lunch as often as we could!

Race for the Cure in memory of Kristina. Marnie and I ran, Mom and Analise walked.

October

Ann Giger came for a visit!

We love the pumpkin patch that is just down the road from our home!

 Date night!!

Yet another trip to the Pumpkin Patch.

We met Mom, Dad, and Ethan at Allerton Park in Monticello.

Natalie's first pair of big girl shoes!

We didn't go trick-or-treating this year, but went to hand out goodies at a nursing home instead.

Our annual family trip, but our first year to not be at Petit Jean.  We were down near Carbondale, IL instead.

November

This is what we like to do around our house...

Each day in November, we each wrote on a leaf something for which we were thankful and one way in which we gave that day, put the leaves on the "thanks" and "giving" trees and by Thanksgiving we had beautiful fall trees!

 Making Gram's famous pumpkin bread.

At the reindeer ranch and corn maze in Rantoul.

Thanksgiving...and when Dan and Marnie told us the exciting news of a new baby coming!!

Festival of Trees in Springfield.

Choosing the best Christmas tree ever!

The best Christmas tree ever!

December

 Our Advent wreath.

 Baking and decorating Christmas cookies!

My girls both like icing. Can you blame them?

Christmas with my Mom and Dad.

Analise's first ever Christmas program! She was the best shepherd I've ever seen.

This picture turned out really well!

Analise and her teacher, Mrs. Strom.

 Christmas in Mississippi!

We gave Daniel's nephews marshmallow guns for Christmas.  :-)

 New Year's in Dallas.

Analise always helps Papa put out the colors...

 ...and bring in the newspaper.

Four generations! Although it gets harder and harder to get a good picture with wiggly children...

January

Post-New Year's in Arkansas.

My girls with my cousin Carmen's girls. It was a fun surprise to get to see Carmen again!

Hope you enjoyed catching up!  I'll try not to let it go quite so long before next time...
